There was a
mysterious box with some enigmatic envelopes on Monday 14th February
in our Day Care Room. There were some tasks hidden in the envelopes.
Teacher Anna Klimsiak-Czech told us what Comenius is . She explained
us that it is a partnership program with schools from Europe and
presented the countries which participate in the project titled “
Mum, dad where is our family name coming from?”. We found in the
map Poland, Spain, Finland, Belgium and Italy. We discussed some
characteristic plants, animals and met neighbor countries.
The great moment
come…. to draw the tasks from the box. The first task was to get
information about the colors in the flag of Spain. The contestants
had to find this information in the library. Team I was Adrian
Sikora class II A and Kuba Łukacz class II A, team II Klaudia Wielek
class II A and Natalia Gradzik class II A, team III Ania Maciążek
class I B and Klaudia Sojka class II A. Each team had to draw the
source of information : the Internet or book resources. The task was
accomplished in a fantastic way!! You can admire the results in the
Day Care Room Gallery.
second and third day of our Comenius Week was full of new and
surprising tasks . The contestants got to know characteristic Spanish
dishes, their ingredients and the recipes. Under supervision of
teacher Krystyna Sabuda the contestants made of plasticine the plates
with the dishes - they looked really delicious!! The most
mouth-watering dishes were made by Adam Mazurczyk class I B ,
Wiktoria Pampuch class II B, Ewelina Sojka class II B and Aleksandra
Baranowska class II B.
four…. What a day!!! Teacher Katarzyna Żołna helped the
contestants with the geopolitical task…. sounds quite complicated.
The contestants had a task to find Spain in the map of Europe. Using
the information their task was to create a project of a poster
promoting a visit to Spain.
five was a summary of all the week. We took part in a quiz about
Spain. The contestants drew the questions and gave the answers. Good
us the next week… hope you can guess the country which will be our
hero. There are some post-glacial lakes, bogs and flatlands… Do
you know? Get ready for fun and adventure in Marc
